MARRIAGE COUNSELLING

A brother and a sister were in a relationship before the wedding date could be fixed, being a holiness church their church asked them to go for pregnancy test. "as usual in most churches intending couple most go for HIV, GENOTYPE and PREGNANCY and other test and this will be done by a clinic/hospital recommended by the church also it is the church that will collect the result." The test results showed that the lady was pregnant! The marriage committee asked the brother why were they committing fornication? The brother picked a Bible placed it on his head and sworn that he has never done anything with her. The lady after crying for a while said, that it was her ex and the pregnancy happened when she had a bye - bye sex with him. And the ex is a member of the same church.

The brother said he will still marry her with the pregnancy, the committee told him that the church can't wed them, he still said he will go to another church where it is allowed.

When the committee asked him why did he insists on marrying her? He said:
1. Because she didn't lie about it.
2. Because he believes that it is his cross to bear.
