LESSON FROM A BROKEN HEART

TEXT: Psalms  51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. Today's sermon is about the lessons we can learn from a broken heart. It is a topic that is very close to my heart, as I have seen many people suffer from the pain of a broken heart. The Bible teaches us that a broken heart is not something to be taken lightly, but it is also not something that should be viewed as a curse. In fact, a broken heart can be a blessing in disguise, as it can teach us valuable lessons about ourselves and our relationship with God. Our text for today is from Psalm 51:12, which says, "Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit." This verse was written by King David after he had committed adultery with Bathsheba and had arranged for her husband, Uriah, to be killed in battle.
