TOPIC: YOU MUST EVANGELIZE

TEXT: Mark  16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

The Bible is filled with messages that urge us to spread the word of God to those around us, but perhaps none is as clear and direct as the commandment found in Mark 16:15: "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." This statement is a call to evangelize, to share the good news of Jesus Christ with everyone we encounter. It's not a suggestion or an optional extra - it's a requirement for every Christian.

I PRAY YOU AND I WILL ANSWER THIS CALL IN JESUS NAME...

Some might feel intimidated by the idea of evangelism, thinking that it requires a deep knowledge of theology or an outgoing personality. But the truth is that evangelism can take many forms, and the most important thing is simply a willingness to share the love of Christ with others.

One of the reasons why those who sow into the work of God grows exponentially great is because they are indirectly evangelising using their wealth. But if you know/claims that you don't have to give or don't want to give then you must go out and preach.

I am not saying you should give and don't go out to preach if possible what's stopping you from doing both? But if due to your nature or nature of your job/business you don't have the time to go to the field then you have no excuse that to support those who are going out to preach.

One way to evangelize is through personal relationships. This can involve sharing your own faith journey with friends and family, answering questions they may have about Christianity, or simply living out your faith in a way that inspires others to ask more about it. You don't have to be a Bible scholar to share your own experiences with God and how they have changed your life.

Another way to evangelize is through service. Jesus often used acts of compassion and kindness to reach out to those in need, and we can do the same. This could involve volunteering at a local soup kitchen, offering to help a neighbor in need, or finding other ways to serve the community. By showing love to others in practical ways, we can open up opportunities to share the message of God's love and grace.

Of course, there are also more formal ways to evangelize, such as participating in mission trips or sharing the gospel through social media. The key is to find a way that works for you and your unique skills and personality. And remember, evangelism is not about forcing your beliefs on others or trying to win arguments - it's about sharing the hope and love that comes from knowing Christ.

ARE YOU STILL THERE?

So if you're a Christian, the call to evangelize is clear. We are called to go out into the world and share the gospel with everyone we meet, in whatever way we can. It may be challenging at times, but with the help of the Holy Spirit, we can all play a part in fulfilling this important commandment.

Another week just ended today, how many souls did you told about Jesus Christ? Tomorrow you will be going to church for worship, how many people have you told about the blessedness of Jesus Christ? How many of your friends and family members are born again? Is your wife, husband, children, coworkers, etc born again? Do you know that if they die in their sins their blood will be required from you?

PRAYER POINTS

🔥 Lord, give us a heart for evangelism, a burning passion to share the gospel with those around us in Jesus name.

🔥 Father, help us to see those around us as You see them, as beloved children who need to hear the good news of salvation.

🔥 Lord, we pray for boldness and courage to share our faith with others, even when it's uncomfortable or unpopular in Jesus name.

🔥 Holy Spirit, guide our words and actions as we evangelize, so that we may speak the truth in love and represent You well in Jesus name.

🔥 Father, we pray for those who have not yet heard the gospel, that You would open their hearts and minds to receive it in Jesus name.

🔥 Lord, we pray for our own personal growth in faith, that we may be living examples of the transformative power of the gospel in Jesus name.

🔥 Father, help us to be good listeners and to truly care for the needs of those around us, that we may build relationships that lead to opportunities to share the gospel in Jesus name.

🔥 Holy Spirit, give us creative and effective ways to share the gospel in our particular contexts and situations in Jesus name.

🔥 Lord, we pray for the resources and support needed to evangelize effectively, whether it be financial, logistical, or otherwise in Jesus name.

🔥 Father, we pray for a spirit of unity among Christians around the world, that we may work together to spread the gospel and share the love of Christ with those in need in Jesus mighty name.
