TOPIC: GENUINE MODEL FOR GOD

TEXT: 1 TIMOTHY 4:12-16.
"Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Neglect, not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.  Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee."

As a Christian whether young or old how you lived your life matters a lot. Your life is a book before many people both young and old, are watching you on daily basis. 

"Let no man detest thy youth; yet be thou an illustration of the devotees, in word, in the discussion, in the foundation, in the soul, in confidence, in virtue" (1 Timothy 4:12).

In Greek, "model" signifies "become an example." As per William J. Toms, "watch out for how you live; you will be the main Book of scriptures certain individuals at any point read."

The genuine model comes from a faithful individual - the one saved through confidence in Christ, who is our model in heavenliness, virtue, love, and administration. His picture ought to be found in us.

Paul's urging to Timothy determines a few regions where to show faithful model as displayed in the present memory stanza. Allow us to be living sacred texts for others to peruse. In your discourse, do you show control? Is sacredness your watchword?

Apostle Paul endorsed the Christian way of life of the Thessalonian adherents when he expressed, "So that ye were guided to all that put stock in Macedonia and Achaia" (1 Thessalonians 1:7). Their salvation was displayed in their ways of life.

Allow no one to detest your childhood given your terrible demonstrations. Rather, show a genuine model in discourse, love, confidence, and virtue. Individuals are watching you any place you go. Assuming you are on the web-based entertainment, just watch, read and post what is ethically and profoundly sound.

5. Henceforth I will not yield to sin anymore in Jesus' name.
