TOPIC: FOUNDATIONAL BATTLES (1)

Many people find it strange whenever we talk about foundational battles, or when we say this or that is a foundational problem. That's because layman's definition of the word foundation is about the root or first stage of a building...

I PRAY GOD WILL OPEN OUR EYES OF UNDERSTANDING IN JESUS NAME...

Today we'll be looking at one of the instances where foundational battles affected not just an individual, but not just a family but a whole clan.

Although I will not deny the fact that some people preach that there is no such thing as foundational/generational curses but after these series, you are free to believe whatever you wish.

Reuben was the firstborn of Jacob and by right he was supposed to get a double portion of the inheritance from his father. Unfortunately, he had some skeletons in his cupboard.
1. He slept with one of his father's concubines/wives and
2. He lied to the father concerning the whereabouts of Joseph.

Most times people commit sins and cover them thinking they are smart, well, can you be smarter than God?

Probably, Reuben thought the father didn't know or rather had assumed he had been forgiven. Reuben was waiting for the father to call him to discuss about his reasons but that never happened.

Same way many people are waiting for God to strike them down or inflict them with sickness before they can confess their sins. Why do many people only confess at the point of death?

Unfortunately, like Reuben many people won't have such opportunity, God will never call some people and asked them about their sins of abortion, stealing, wearing idols in the name of beauty, gossiping, envy, and etc.

Some are even doing great exploits for God but they are not of God (Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.) and unfortunately, many people are following them in their errors because a leader's sin is a leading sin.

But the most unfortunate thing is that the curse did not stop on Reuben alone but continued in his bloodline. That's because as a man or woman you represent many generations. That's why the sin of murder is a serious thing before God, for every one killed many generations died along with him. Had it been your grandmother/grandfather died before your father was born where would you have been?

The curse pronounced on Reuben continues to afflict the Reubenites every member of the tribe does not excel, if you are competing with Reubenites just go and sleep because you will surely defeat him no matter how he studies, trains, and prepared.

But when Moses looked at his foundational battles he said "Deuteronomy 33:6 Let Reuben live, and not die; and let not his men be few." and from that moment the story of every Reubenites changed.

I STAND BY THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS A MINISTER OF GOD AND I DECLARE THAT YOU WILL NOT, EVERY FOUNDATIONAL BATTLE FLOWING IN YOUR ROOT EXPIRE IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME... AMEN 🔥

So, whenever I say foundational battles, you should know that I am referring to your ancestry, I will give further details in the next series if Jesus tarries.

But, you must repent of any sins you thought/assumed had been forgiven. Like Reuben don't wait for the day of judgment to catch up with you. Don't create another battle for your future generations, if not for Moses the tribe of Reuben would have been lost.

PRAYER POINTS

💥 Plead for mercy over your life and family.
🔥 Mention your sins and confess them each.
🔥 Pray for grace to do any restitutions that you must do.
Now pray like this:
🔥 By the Authority in the word of God I cancel every ancestral debts hanging on me in Jesus name.
🔥 Powers forcing me to pay for what I didn't buy scatter in Jesus mighty name.
🔥 Evil records of my ancestors I am not your candidate, die in Jesus name.
🔥 Blood of Jesus Christ separate me from my foundation in Jesus name.
🔥 Follow - follow power monitoring my destiny for evil die in Jesus name.
